Jeff Lee | 2014 Speakers

Mr. Jeff Lee is the energy operations manager for Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd. His work at Gateway is focussed on reducing the company’s 12 casinos’ carbon footprint by reducing their collective electrical and gas consumption. To date, they have reduced their consumption by approximately 2.2 gigawatt hours, which is the equivalent to the amount needed to power 221 homes for an entire year.

Mr. Lee started his career with Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd in 2009, where he held the position of building operations manager at Starlight Casino before moving to the Grand Villa Casino in 2012. His interest in energy conservation and his background in power engineering, controls and automation led to his current role as the energy operations manager for all Gateway Casinos. Prior to joining Gateway, Mr. Lee was a controls design engineer at Olympic Controls and a facilities coordinator at the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch.
