Mr. Michael Urbas

Mr. Michael Urbas is the energy manager and commissioning engineer at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation (GCGC). Starting his career with the GCGC in 2004 as a maintenance engineer for the River Rock Casino, Mr. Urbas’ talent and drive was recognized with several promotions throughout his tenure. In 2006, he was promoted to a supervisory position in the engineering department and become chief engineer in 2008.
Mr. Urbas received his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation in 2011 from the Association of Energy Engineers. Most recently, he was awarded his Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) designation from Ashrae Learning Institute in 2013.
